![]() Enoch enjoyed some movie roles with parts in Executive Order, Tiger s, and This is Christmas. ![]() The role as Wes Gibbons, coming three years after his Harry Potter tenure ended, changed all that. While Enoch had a pretty significant role in the Harry Potter franchise as Dean Thomas, appearing in every movie in the series, he wasn't one of the key players, so he mostly slipped by with little fanfare. ![]() How to Get Away With Murder is the series that made Alfred Enoch a star, but it wasn't where his story ended. Because Wes and Asher come from opposite backgrounds but are both murdered, these storylines exposed the danger the characters were always facing. When an FBI agent murdered Asher Millstone in HTGAWM season 6, this felt like the right story decision as well. Wes's death was shocking and frightening, which proved there were dark consequences of being part of both Annalise and Laurel's worlds as both of them have made wealthy and well-connected people very angry. While it's difficult for the members of the Keating Five to lose Wes, it doesn't seem like any other character could've died at this moment in the story. It’ll be interesting, it’ll be good, they’ll be able to do something else." The actor also accepted this was a practical conclusion for his character and said, " We’ve done so much Wes story. Enoch told Entertainment Weekly, " The decision was creative." Before showrunner Peter Nowalk told him, he felt that Wes would be the character who would die. "I do lots of napping. Why did Wes leave HTGAWM? Alfred Enoch explained that his character was killed because it felt like the next step for the story, not because he wanted to leave or because he had a conflicting movie or TV show to shoot. Speaking of the demanding schedule, Alfred revealed to Heart the one hack that he uses to combat the gruelling routine. Running until the 28th July at the Wyndham's Theatre, the play is on Monday - Saturday evenings, with matinees on Thursdays and Saturdays.Ĭredit: Johan Persson - Alfred is currently starring in West End show 'Red' "I didn't want that awkward moment where you switch into the accent and feel 'is it right, isn't it right'.I wanted it to feel like it was lived in, like it was something I could trust, and something that wasn't another barrier to me working but it was just part of the process."Īmerican thriller series How To Get Away With Murder, starring Viola Davis as law attorney Annalise Keating, has taken the world by storm and is currently one of the most popular programmes on Netflix.Ĭredit: Getty - Alfred at the Olivier AwardsĪlfred is currently starring in West End theatre production Red, which is based on the artist Mark Rothko.Īnd the actor is thoroughly enjoying it, explaining to Heart: "It's a lot of fun to do, it's a full on show - it's a real pleasure!" "So I went to LA to shoot at the beginning of each season and pretty much when I went through security at Heathrow I started doing the accent, and I didn't stop until we'd shot the last scene."Ĭredit: Getty - Alfred Enoch with his HTGAWM co-starsĪlfred continued: "So it was 7 months speaking in that accent - even when I came home, I would come home for two weeks at Christmas and my friends would absolutely hate it - but I mean that was it, that was the commitment I made to get it right. "The most significant thing I did that helped me get comfortable with it, was I stayed in the accent the whole time," Alfred revealed to Heart. Openly admitting that accents aren't a natural ability he possesses, Alfred revealed that he well and truly embraced sounding American. He told Heart: "When I got the part I was just mindful that this is gonna be on American TV and I can't get it wrong - there's nowhere to hide!" ![]() Many of the works from this era are found in his Golden Age Collection. Marcel Moyse, a prominent flutist in the early twentieth-century is well known for collecting some of the prominent works of his time. ![]() Franz Schubert Introduction and Variations.Franz Doppler's Fantasie Pastorale Hongroise."Romantic" or Nineteenth CenturyĪs the language of music expanded after Beethoven, so to did the repertoire for the flute. You can look for music by Louis Emmanuel Jadin, Johann Georg Graeff, Johann Nepomuk Hummel, and Friedrich Kuhlau, though some of these pieces knock on the door of the next era, where the flute really starts to shine. Much lesser known are the assortment of music for flute and piano. Gluck's piece is an excerpt from his opera Orfeo ed Euridice, but is found inside Robert Cavally's 24 Short Concert Pieces. The two Mozart concertos are the most standard concertos in the literature, and are studied by all flutists. Gluck's Minuet and Dance of the Blessed Spirits. However, there are three pieces that are standard in the flute repertoire of this time: The instrument had largely fallen out of favor as a solo piece and was more found as a key member of the orchestra of the period. The era that is synonymous with Mozart, early Beethoven, and late Haydn had very little to offer in the area of solo flute literature. My favorite sonata is the Sonata in B Minor, if you are looking for a place to start. There are seven sonatas, four which are assumed to be written by Bach, and three which have been attributed to Bach, but scholars are fairly certain were actually written by his son, C.P.E. This is a piece for solo flute and Bach's only know piece for the instrument without continuo. There are some works from this period which are considered standards and are part of any aspiring flute players study. They were prolific, and considered to be some of the best composers of the time. Now, by no means is this list exhaustive, but if you are new to the flute repertoire, but have some knowledge of music and music history, some, if not all, of these composers will be familiar to you, and for good reason. I would suggest looking at the following composers: In the age of the Bachs, there are many, many, flute pieces to examine. No additional chamber music will be discussed, though you can check out our overview of some flute and violin duets for some inspiration. We will be focusing purely on music for flute, flute and piano, and highlighting major concertos in the repertoire as well. How does one begin to navigate the flute repertoire, a vast array of music from antiquity to modern day? I will give you a very high level overview of the repertoire for the flute, and also showcase some resources you can use to discover repertoire on your own. ![]() In other words, it looks like people have to go with either the Bowhouse upgrades, OR the Knight Customs upgrades, but NOT both. The bell crank does take out most of the slop that was found in the stock plastic bell cranks. The bell cranks do work with the Knight Customs 3D printed lowering parts. So to be clear, I am not using the Bowhouse steering rack, but I am using the Bowhouse alum bell cranks. By adding the spacer, the suspension know cycles better and eliminates most of the extreme bump steer that it had. Ty's tip is to add a 6mm spacer on the knuckle to lower the links to put them in line with the top a-arms. I stole a tip from Tekin Builds that he has previously posted in his Bronco build thread and applied it here. So to fix the bump steer caused by the Bowhouse steering rack, I decided to go back to the stock steering rack to see if it would help with the bump steer.īy removing the BH steering rack and installing the stock metal rack, the links are more closely in line with the a-arms. The Bowhouse steering rack does not work in this setup, but does work extremely well when used with the stock Element IFS setup without the lowering parts. As I said, when the suspension was cycled, there was massive bump steer.Įdit: I forgot to mention that the IFS has the Knight Customs 3D printed lowering parts. You can see in these 2 pics how far uneven the links are compared to the top a-arms. I even added spacers to the knuckles to lower the links. The parts are anodized aluminum and the steering rack also comes with 3D printed bump stops.Īfter installing both sets of steering upgrades, I found out the alum steering rack put the tie rod links too low and caused massive bump steer issues. Here is both the Bowhouse RC steering rack and bell crank parts to fix the slop and bump steer found in the stock IFS setup. I figured since the rig has the gray "hard" plastic theme in it that I may as well make the shock towers match. I also picked up the Enduro hard shock mounts. Next up is installing the Bowhouse steering fix. |
